Biography

Bharat Vyakaranam joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in May 2010. His Ph.D research focused on the dynamic harmonic domain modeling of flexible alternating current transmission system controllers. At PNNL, Dr. Bharat has been involved in applications of the GridLAB-D software to distribution level analysis and optimization. His current research activities include identification of voltage stability boundary, real-time transmission path rating, studies on integration of renewable energy, and power system operation, modeling and control. From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Bharat was an assistant professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at CEC, India.
